About Travis:

Travis grew up in Columbia and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Personal Finance in 2002.  Thereafter he attended the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, graduating in 2005 with a Juris Doctor and Certificate in Taxation.

During law school, Travis was the recipient of the Fred L. Hall, Jr. Foundation Estate Planning Award.  He was also a member of the Missouri Environmental Law and Policy Review from 2003-05, serving as a Note and Comment Editor from 2004-05.  Travis had two case notes, two legislative updates and a case review published in the review between 2003-05.

Travis has practiced general civil litigation in the private sector, served as General Counsel for the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission in Jefferson City, and practiced insurance defense, corporate law and contract law with Gibbs Pool & Turner, PC, before accepting an opportunity as General Counsel with Sinclair Group, Inc., a preclinical biomedical research facility that performs services for companies in the US and overseas.  During his 8 years with Sinclair, Travis worked in many areas of law, including contract negotiations, employer/employee law, real estate transactions, compliance matters with state and federal agencies, and general corporate law.

Travis focuses his practice on Contracts, Labor and Employment Law, Real Estate Transactions and Corporate Law.

Travis is an avid outdoorsman who spends his free time golfing in the summer and hunting deer and elk in the fall.  He and his wife Jessica spend most of their vacations visiting National Parks trying to collect all of the stamps for their National Park Passport.
