A native Mid-Missourian, Hannah grew up in New Bloomfield, MO. She received her undergraduate degree from Columbia College in 2014 in Criminal Justice Administration, with a minor in Legal Studies. After undergrad, Hannah obtained her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2018.

In law school, Hannah joined the legal honors society Phi Delta Phi. She worked with the Mindfulness in Law Society, where she was able to contribute to improving lawyer wellness. One of her proudest accomplishments in law school was the publication of her 2015 public comment to the United States Sentencing Commission’s proposed revisions to violent crime sentencing guidelines.

Before joining Gibbs Pool and Turner, Hannah worked with the Missouri Department of Social Services, primarily representing DSS in Child Abuse and Neglect cases. She has experience successfully prosecuting civil Child Abuse and Neglect findings made by the Department. On behalf of DSS, Hannah also litigated cases regarding abused and neglected children in juvenile, family, and probate court.

Currently, she focuses her practice on juvenile law, family law, probate law, and complex litigation – including medical malpractice and business litigation. Hannah works cases from start to finish, and uses her skills in all parts of the litigation process: investigation, pre-trial matters, witness preparation, and civil trials.

Hannah is an avid animal lover, especially dogs. She likes to read, and even attends a small book club for lively discussion and socialization. She is a passionate advocate for mental health and wellness. When not working, Hannah especially enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Buck, love making memories with their daughter Octavia.
