Susan was an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of Missouri Attorney General from 1989 to 1993 and has been in private practice since 1993. She joined the firm of Gibbs Pool and Turner, P.C., in 2003 and has over twenty five years of experience in all aspects of workers’ compensation representing both employees and employers and insurers including practicing before the Labor Commission and Appellate Courts and the seven workers’ compensation adjudication offices throughout the state. She is a frequent speaker at the Missouri Bar’s annual Workers’ Compensation Institute and has also practiced in the area of probate and family law. Her Martindale Hubble Peer Review Rating is AV Preeminent.

She is a 1989 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and received a bachelors degree in English from Lincoln University in Jefferson City in 1986. She also received a Diploma in Nursing from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1969 and has 20 years experience in psychiatric and emergency nursing.
